J'ai été très émue , la première fois que j'ai entendue cette chanson; Ayant moi même perdu mon père, j'aurais très bien pu écrire ces parloles , tellement elles sont en osmose avec ce que je rescent.

Bon les mots sont traduisible plus ou moins avec un dictionnaire mais il me semble qu'il y a beaucoup d'expressions toutes faites sans doute plus ou moins argotique, et la traduction littérale ne donne pas de résultats probant.
Je peux scanner la pochette et l'envoyer si on ne trouve pas facilement le texte sur le net. MERCI.

J'ai été voir et ecouter il y a peu un grand monsieur,à mon sens bien sur, Ritchie Havens.
J'ai toujours été plus attiré par son original de "Going Back to My Roots" que par les multiples reprises. Au souvenir de sa version sur scéne, je le suis maintenant encore plus, s'il en est.
Malgres mon absence de site, et ma meconaissance de la langue de Shakespeare, peux tu me, ou nous, traduire les paroles.
L'un n'empêchera pas l'autre, je trouve ton site bien fait et instructif. J'ai ecouté bien des chansons que tu as traduites, j'en sais maintenant, pour le meilleur "generalement", le sens.
